That's a Wrap, Florida
After spending the month of July in the sunshine state, it is time to move on
As July morphed into August, we traded our Longboat Key beach condo for a two bedroom, two and a half bath quaint townhome in Savannah, Georgia. Never mind the six hour drive in on-again off-again afternoon thunderstorms which included spectacular lightning.
Now, I am not one to compare homes and neighborhoods, but our new residence cannot not be more different from the last.
The Longboat Key condo was on the fifth floor of a large building. The two bedroom two bath residence had multiple windows overlooking the pond and the ocean just beyond it. It was a short, two minute walk until my feet touched the sand.
We have traded it for our current two story, 1,500 sq foot home was built in 1876 and is around the corner from Savannah's National Landmark District. We have four fireplaces, which I can confirm will not be used once during our summer stay. Upon arriving at our new residence, this little guy was there to greet us at the front door. I am pretty sure he was paying half the rent but has since, ahem, moved on.
Savannah is now our new, temporary home for the next few weeks. Debbie and I are first time visitors and we are eager to get out and explore our surroundings. More about our stay here in a future post.
I leave you with a brief, montage video from some our July experiences. That’s a wrap Florida. Onward! If you liked the video and the content, I did it. If you did not like it, then maybe I’ll ask you to help create the next version. Enjoy!

Thanks for a great time Florida.
I will be very disappointed if you don't! Your new surroundings sound amazing. Can't wait to see the photos from Savannah ...
So you'll be around for ESTO? See you there?
